April 17, 2005 - The Inquirer Machinima Pushes Music Video to Next Level Source engine endian
REGULAR INQ readers will know that we have mentioned Machinima once or twice in the past.
Half-Life fanatic Paul Marino has taken the genre to the next level with his new music video, filmed entirely in the Source Engine and set to popular rocksters Breaking Benjamin. Using FacePoser software, the G-Man becomes the lead singer, emoting and lip-syncing unbelievably. As the genre continues to progress and gain more exposure as a mainstream film-making technique, this will surely be looked back on as a seminal work. The low-quality version is 20MB, and the high-quality 60MB - it's well worth the download. Check out machinima.org for the link. This is going to be huge. µ |
